Located in Young Harris, Georgia, The Ridges Resort is perfectly situated along the shore of beautiful Lake Chatuge. The newly renovated 66-room property is just a 2-hour drive from Atlanta, Chattanooga and Greenville, South Carolina. It offers magnificent views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains and is truly one of North Georgia’s hidden gems.

Herein lies the problem. It was “hidden.” For a property that had so much going for it, no one knew it existed.

The 40-year-old property had been successful in its previous form, but what was once a homey mountain retreat was now just homely. New ownership decided to renovate the rooms, paint the interior and exterior. They even hired a firm to create a new logo, create new imagery and write copy. A lot of dollars were spent, but a true brand identity was never developed.

The property offers two restaurants, a water park, a market and a full service marina with boat rentals. Within 20 minutes of the resort entrance, guest can experience hiking trails, boating, championship golf, horseback riding, wine tastings, regional events and much more.
