Breaking Barriers offers certified baseball instruction to all skill levels, while providing an opportunity for young men of different racial and economic backgrounds in the Atlanta community to engage and grow through the game of baseball.

CJ and Kelli Stewart have worked tirelessly to foster change in their community, on-and-off the field. Their passion for baseball and community led them to create L.E.A.D, a nonprofit organization working to empower Atlanta’s inner-city youth through baseball–teaching Black boys how to overcome all curveballs they may encounter in their journey.
As these young men overcome odds and progress through the L.E.A.D. program, they earn the right to be called Ambassadors. With this recognition, they are challenged with becoming teachers of change themselves.
Breaking Barriers’ goal is to produce better players, but more importantly, it is to nurture productive members of the community by uniting our youth around the shared love of baseball..

Our team was challenged with creating an identity and website. The identity had to live up to the standards already in place and inspire the young men in the program. The website would need to set expectations, while being informative, inspirational and educational.
